I was just wandering because I don't know anyone who previews their computer files before they open them directly from Windows. They do preview them from Microsoft Word or another word processing program. Photos are another story.

Have you ever tried MyAirBridge? It’s my favourite online cloud service for data transfers and data storage, I mainly appreciate the end-to-end encryption option and the teamwork feature. I can really recommend it

Worse than Apple these days, for years i thought Mac OS was this locked down OS, now after having a Mac for a few months i have noticed it is not as locked down as i thought.

At least Apple don't push things like MS is doing. MS is finding that few people have interest in teams for personal use, they prefer WhatsApp and that sort of thing.

i use Discord myself.

Would have been making use of it if you could use the same app for Teams for Work, 'cause that's what I do on a daily basis. Instead of all these wasted resources on developing a new communication platform, they could have simply built on their existing Skype platform, making it more user friendly like Facetime...

"

I never understood this trend of an OS making things more difficult for you. For decades, one of the main purposes of an OS was to make things easier and simpler for you. This was achieved, in part, through the ability to customize/configure/personalize your environment to your liking to maximize your productivity.
In recent years, things appear to have changed and Microsoft (among others) decided it would be a good idea to lock things down in their OS, to prevent users from changing their environment, or, as is said in this article, to purposely "make it difficult to users". It's totally counterintuitive to me. And yes, someone will bring up the need to lock things down for security reasons. I don't fully buy that; for many UI elements and customization such as this one, there has to be a way to provide users with personalization options without security impact.
